Progression of Spiritual Demographics

December 6, 2009 Merlin Gonzales FHL Mobile Food Pantry, Message

At least 3 people received Jesus as their Savior at the last FHL Mobile Food Pantry at Boys & Girls Club, Indianapolis. Just between the pantry & the Street Evangelism, we are averaging 2 salvations a week. At the same time, we are adding more disciples on a monthly basis through other FHL ministries.

I have sensed the collision of Light and darkness in the spiritual realm at the last Pantry. I asked the Lord what’s happening? A thought came to me…we are not the Savior, He is. We leave the judgment to God. Our job is to create an environment where love is overflowing to the extent that people get attracted to us. God is saying,”The harvest is plentiful and I am sending them to you.” The anointing is getting stronger and so is the opposition.

If we show the tangible unconditional love of Christ to the world, they can’t help but come to us. It is the manifest Presence of God that brings people to us. Romans 2:4b: “God’s kindness leads you toward repentance”

There will be more and more non-Christians coming to serve with us, through Kindness Days, Pantry, Farm, other Outreaches, etc. We need to be ready as the harvest is right in front of us. We also need to be alert that the enemy is opportunistic.

God has been showing us new ways to reach out and to bring the message. He had opened doors for us to minister to churches and to the world. There are many new things that He is doing in our ministry. It’s mind-boggling for me to see non-Christians literally get attracted to us in serving those in need. The stories in Jesus’ time is manifesting in our midst!

Living a lifestyle of unconditional love allows us to live in freedom and bring the Kingdom of God into the hearts of others! What a privilege to experience Heaven expanding in our communities.

“Bertha and I got up in front this past Sunday and told the Church about the (FHL) food pantry and how awesome it was to be a part of it than I told them about the Citywide prayer and about FHL they are all excited and one of the ladies from our church spoke up and said that what she has a heart for and that she is manager of some apartments in Greenwood that houses 250 refugees and she wants to get something going there.” – Debra F.

Hello everyone!

Thank you for blessing everyone! We had a wonderful time and God was glorified. This Dinner is a testimony that His grace is more than enough for us to live a Lifestyle of Unconditional Love.

The Crown Room was filled with joyous people and His Presence. This is the first time that we’ve done a Dinner function, planned and served by 100% volunteers. This speaks loudly about what FHL is all about; it’s not about a few people doing things but a collective effort of people who are passionate in serving others unconditionally.

On behalf of FHL, thank you so much for your prayers and support. The Word & works of God cannot be separated; you’re an encouragement to all of us!

NOTE: We’re back to serving the public on Saturday, 11/21at the MOBILE FOOD PANTRY at Boys & Girls Cub located at 2310 E. 30th St. Official food distribution 3p-4:30p. Volunteers are encouraged to come at 1pm – 5:30p. If you are available, please join us to be a tangible expression of God’s love to the community.

Hello Friends,

This is my first post and I want to welcome you! FHL is excited to announce the new options in communication and technology that we are implementing to better serve you. We have just relaunched our new web site and are now introducing blogs for you to communicate directly with us and our ministry leaders and staff. These blogs are powerful means to get feedback from you, our readers, and for you to hear directly from us about the really important “backyard mission work” , helping your own city and communities, your own neighborhoods that we are led by the Lord to do. We want to partner with people like you right now. So feel free to jump in and leave a comment or suggestion here.

All of our recent upgrades brought to mind the following thoughts: Someone said that knowledge is power but another said that knowledge unused is powerless. Same thing with technology and countless resources that God gave us…if unused and not utilized will be just a sore thumb sticking out and wasted. We can’t stand still or we’ll get ran over.

Opportunities to get involved and to volunteer as of September 2009:

Prayer at the Circle on 8/30/09 3pm

This prayer group will have a brief worship, communion and prayer for Indianapolis

FHL Kindness Days

on 8/29/09 :00pm

at 10th St & Rural, Indianapolis; There will be 4 Groups reaching out: Passing out cold drinks, picking up trash, street evangelism and Prayer Tent.

on 9/11/09

There will be several projects at Martindale-Brightwood area (clean up, light construction) and in Castleton. We are expecting more than 60 volunteers to come together in serving our communities.

on 10/17/09

This day will be focused on Cars of Clay Ministry. More details to come.

FHL Refugees & Farm Ministry

FHL has (3) farms that have been producing food for the community. A church in Greenwood, IN is donating 20 acres land for farming. There will be vision-casting luncheon at Midwest Food Bank on Saturday, September 12 from 11am to 1pm; Lunch is provided. There are opportunities to partner and to volunteer. Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Thank you for coming to the (FHL Week 2009 Launching) meeting. We had many new potential Area Coordinators! Here are the meeting minutes for the January 15th meeting on Thursday:

The Vision of FHL International, Inc. and the FHL Week (It’s about Relationships)
Identification of NEEDS and RESOURCES in our neighborhoods and MOBILIZE our community to serve
Projects, services and events are tools to reach out to the community
We plan for all our events and projects but we are flexible to the leading of the Holy Spirit-He runs this ministry
We are planning to have at least 10 Area Coordinators from the following areas:

o Nora/Castleton
o Urban-North
o Urban South
o Noblesville
o Fishers
o Carmel
o Westfield
o Zionsville
o Greenwood
o West
o Avon/Brownsburg/Plainfield
o Fortville/McCordsville
o East

Pastor Paul Backer of Central Christian Church in Carmel will be our AC Consultant. He had been an Area Coordinator for Carmel/Westfield area from 2006-2008 averaging 500+ volunteers every FHL Week
Paul Bechtold is the Metro Indy AC Coordinator and will assist you for the FHL Week
